BACK TO SCHOOL BASH​

Our Back to School Bash held on Saturday July 29th at the new Cook High School Gym was a absolute success. We were blessed with the 27 volunteers and 20 local business sponsors. In our unity we had the opportunity to serve over 350 youth and 152 adults from within our community. All activities, refreshments and treats provided were free of charge. We gave out 340 backpacks filled with school supplies, haircuts, face painting, nail painting, 2 bounce houses, ice cream truck (with 300 free ice creams), 2 live DJs, over 200 grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, nacho, popcorn, hula hoop competition, fire truck and much more. Watching our community come together with our sponsors, volunteers and event attendees is a huge leap forward in a positive direction.
Dunk After Dark Teen Night

We overly enjoyed our 1st Dunk After Dark Teen Night. It was a huge success! The mission entailed providing our teens with a safe, relaxed and fun environment. In our efforts we were able to promote creativity, recreational play, collaboration, and networking. We feel steps like these are major for our community, because it not only helps bolster the elevation of our future but it also molds our teens into the productive citizen they desire to be.
