Christmas Cook's Kids Wishlist
December 17, 2022

This year we had the pleasure of hosting our 1st Cook's Kids Wishlist. The idea we envisioned was to allow parents to prvide us with an desired item or items from their child's Christmas wishlist. We initially sought out to sponsor 25 children between the ages of 6-18. We feel the Christmas holidays plays an important role in building strong mental health and self esteem amongst youth. It's key for all youth to understand, if there's anything you desire in this world it is certainly obtainable and you can defintely have it. We were beyond successful in our goal of sponsoring 25 kids, and were blessed to sponsor 50. Major thanks to our donors, it shows there is true power in the unity of our community. We pray this simple gesture could be the spark a child needs to push a bit harder, and thrive for much more.

Back 2 School Bash
July 30 2022

iPledge had the pleasure of servicing our community in preparation of the youth returning to school. In a time where prices of nearly everything is increasing, being of service where we are able is our passion. iPledge made our 1st official community appearance in Adel GA at the Old Middle School. After partnering with several businesses and individuals we were blessed to providing: over 450 backpacks with supplies, free haircuts, free nail painting, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, juices, bottled water, 2 live DJs, horseback ride, dunking booth, community vendors appearances, and a list of other games/entertainment. Families not only had the opportunity to come out and receive the various things/activities we offered, also had the opportunity to bond and enjoy other families in the community.

Harlem Legends All-Star Game
July 30 2022
The Harlem Legends made a stop in Adel on Saturday July 30th following the Back 2 School Bash and put on quite the show. The event took place at the new Cook High School gym. It was all set up by the Cook County board of education in partner with iPledge Community board members to conclude the back to school weekend. The kids got the chance to play around with the Harlem Legends as well as take pictures and win prizes. The main event was the Harlem Legends vs Cook County all stars. The Legends ran off with the win over the Cook County all stars but not before a night filled with laughter and excitement. All proceeds raised was donated to our Cook County SOCKS (Saving Our Cook Kids) Program in efforts to ensure our kids in the Cook School system are properly taken care of in any and all manner needed.
